『KOREA INTERNATIONAL LIVESTOCK EXPO 2023』

I’m Oh Se-jin, chairman of the Korea Poultry Association, who is the organizer of KISTOCK 2023.

First of all, I would like to thank all the Korean livestock industry workers for their unwavering support for the Korea International Livestock Expo.
Our fair is being prepared under the theme of “Value and Continuity of K-Livestock” at Exco(Daegu Exhibition & Convention Center) for 3 days from September 6 to 8, 2023, for the 12th time since the Korea Poultry Fair was integrated into a comprehensive livestock fair in 1999.

In 2023, Korea's livestock production is facing another crisis.
Starting with ASF in 2019, the unprecedented negative factor of COVID-19 and the ensuing global recession are forcing anxiety and contraction to our livestock farms, livestock front and rear companies, and us engaged in livestock production.
However, as has been the case in the past, our livestock farmers will overcome the crisis.
To this end, overcoming the challenge and establishing a framework for the sustainable livestock industry will be a task given to both our livestock farmers and livestock workers.

Like the theme of "Value and Continuity of K-Livestock," the KISTOCK 2023 aims to lay the foundation for the future generation to show the vision and potential of our livestock industry to all the people who are preparing for tomorrow.
In order to advance to eco-friendly livestock, the national food industry, and the livestock industry loved by consumers, the fair will provide information and technical support that contributes to the improvement and development of the farming environment, and it will make farmers feel proud.

Under this goal, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and livestock producers' organizations (Korea Poultry Association, Korea Pork Producers Association, Hanwoo Association, Korea Dairy and Beef Farmers Association, Korea Duck Association, and Korea Association for Livestock Housing & Environment Machinery) promise to do their best for a successful and exemplary fair.

I would like to express my infinite praise and support as one of the livestock farmers for your hard work that you have been overcoming despite the current crisis.
